Following the change to Willow Grill

We are softly opening our re-branded restaurant, taking the time to pick out our new colours and decor. The dining space will have an entirely new feeling - we are excited about it!

Willow Grill Vision Board

Looking at our surrounds we noticed the trees around us, the colours they bring into our restaurant, and how it connects us to our region.  Having hung a brand new mural in our restaurant, we are working through the process of selecting wallpaper and furnishings that have the textures and colour palette that flatters our new image.

Our new stand out piece of art
After having launched our menu in the last three weeks, we are hearing great feedback and are pleased
Review courtesy of Trip Advisor.
" We came up with the grill concept as there’s nothing locally that focuses purely on Grill. There is an element of grill food in a lot of restaurants, but no grill restaurant. The idea was to start small and grow. So from grill food to sizzling plates to hot rocks to salad bar, etc. I think the key here is always value for money, and we need to make sure we stay there. Service will remain table service, so it’s not pub food or counter service, but the flavours will be comforting and good wholesome tucker. I want to stay away from “steak house”, I just think we’re a bit better than that and it pigeon holes us."
Justin Hickman,  Managing Director Quality Inn Margaret River
By using local providers to source our ingredients we are not only supporting local business but ensuring our produce is as fresh as it can be, from the farm to the plate as quick as possible. We love to use Margaret River Gourmet Meats they are a friendly, boutique style butcher shop in the heart of Margaret River. Renowned in the region for servicing individual household and wholesale requirements. Another supplier we rely on is the Busselton Farmers Market, who have been servicing the South West with high quality fresh produce for over eight years., they source from a great range of local producers. If you have been to the region, you have no doubt sampled some of the delights from the Margaret River Venison, lucky for us being so close we can use their products throughout our menu.  We are always looking at adding more local supplies to our menu, so expect additions as our cogs start turning!

Because we are in a premium wine region our wine list reflects the diverse range the region has on offer.  We also have on offer an array of premium local craft beer. Being a fully licensed restaurant, we also stock a full bar.

We can't wait to share with you what we are developing, we also can't wait for the long summer nights on our deck!

Something exciting is happening in our restaurant!

The team at Quality Inn Margaret River are currently in the midst of bringing new life to our Margaret’s Restaurant and what is coming is something much more in tune with our surroundings, with a whole lot of passion and determination - just like our South West coastline.

South West Coast

We intend to keep the welcomeness of the space, the traditional feelings and the relaxing atmosphere that our accommodation and Margaret’s Restaurant is renowned for.

The current dining room at Quality Inn Margaret River, changes are happening!

If you’ve stayed with us recently then you would have noticed a few things already happening in our restaurant, gradually we are enhancing the space and bringing our new vision to life. We have our new menu on the tables, so far we hear great things. While you were here, did you look up? Notice anything new?

Restaurant renovations have started slowly. Firstly we had added these great looking new light fittings!

It isn’t all out with the old in with the new, a few parts of the restaurant we love and are always a talking point. Isn’t it interesting to see in the images above our fireplace how far the Margaret River township has come? It is hard to imagine that back then they had any idea of how much this town would grow!

The historical images in our dining room show the extent of Margaret Rivers ever changing town site, they are a great conversation started in our dining room.

Stepping into 2016, Quality Inn Margaret River wants to broaden your experience with not only providing a relaxing space where your group of one, two or ten can relax but one where you can indulge in what our region has to offer in local, seasonal food options. Our aim is to keep the ingredients as local as we can, buying direct from suppliers and ensuring only the finest of what they have to offer will be made available to you. What we have planned we don’t see readily available in Margaret River at the moment, and for those staying with us, it is just a stone's throw from their room.

Being set amongst Australia’s premium Margaret River Wine Region we will showcase this within our new redefined restaurant with premium wines picked to showcase not only our menu but also our region. We are fully licensed and also have ready and available local craft beers.

We have farewelled Margaret's!

Sadly we are waving goodbye to Margaret's, after serving us well she, unfortunately, doesn't fit with our new vision, We would like to introduce to you our new restaurant Willow Grill.

Say hello to Willow Grill!
